DanceInTimeProductions is a dance company based in DC that teaches and performs Salsa and other Latin dances. DIT has produced shows for the Kennedy Center, the Verizon Center, the DC Convention Center, World Bank Red Carpet Galas and the Washington Nationals Baseball Park.
Director Barb Bernstein has taught Latin dance (credit & non-credit classes) at the University of Maryland, George Washington University, George Mason University, American University and the Peabody Institute for Music. Barb loves to teach and holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Maryland with a specialty in teaching methods.
Barb also runs a “Salsa for Athletes” training program that uses Salsa steps to enhance athletic performance. She has been invited to judge dance competitions for teens, adults, and professional dancers, in and out of town.
