Lehigh Valley Martial Arts
Lehigh Valley Martial Arts offers martial arts and Tai Chi classes for children and adults. At Lehigh Valley Martial Arts we help our students develop confidence, focus, self-discipline and self-defense, respect and leadership.

Confidence
We help our students develop confidence by setting the goal for the student, for example earning a white sash or belt. When a student achieves their goals, it becomes easy to increase their confidence. As time goes on we encourage students, with the help of family and friends, to set harder, longer range goals and then teach them to break the goals down into smaller more tangible parts. The more they achieve, the more their confidence grows.

Focus
We help students develop focus and concentration skills through teaching students in short segments. As time goes on the segments become longer until a student is able to concentrate on one subject for a long period of time.

Self-Discipline
Developing Self-discipline will allow students to tackle difficult tasks and be successful without ever questioning their ability. The secondary component to self discipline is the ability to take care of any and all responsibilities without reminders and with complete accountability.

Self-Defense
We teach our students how to defend themselves. We believe that the act of physical self defense should be the last option, exercised only when all other options have been exhausted. In each of our classes we teach non physical and physical self defense. Students are taught the concepts and theories needed to stay safe in any situation.

Respect
We believe in teaching students the value of respect and having good character. These lessons begin with the students learning how to be verbally respectful to others. Respect for others becomes respect for myself. Students are expected to demonstrate this respect at home, at school, at work, and here at the school.
