LMFA is a contemporary regional art museum located in the heart of downtown Longview, in East Texas, between Tyler and Shreveport off Interstate 20. We have over 450 pieces in our permanent collection, which rotates quarterly. Two side galleries contain temporary exhibits. An annual photo contest is held each year, an invitational for annual high school students, and a regional artists invitational. An ABC – Artists Brainstorming & Critiquing class is held the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month. Ladies Night is the 3rd Thursday of each month. Anyone checking in on their smart phone is admitted free during regular museum hours: T – F 10a-4p; Sat 10a-2p.
