Midwest Railway Preservation Society located in Cleveland, Ohio focuses on collecting, preserving, educating, and operating railroading history.
Visitors wander through an interactive train museum, a historical rail yard and roundhouse full of restored vintage locomotives and cars. Climb on board the “Mount Baxter,” an original, elegant “parlor coach” from the 1930’s which also was used by TriStar Pictures for filming of the movie “The Natural” with Robert Redford.
In addition to our tours and train rides, we also offer our knowledge, experience, and expertise to private railcar owners – a service they can depend on for their repairs, renovations, and service inspections. We service diesel locomotives, vintage steam locomotives and railcars.
