Offered 7 days a week, Cajun Critters Swamp Tours will take you to see the backwaters of Louisiana where you will float past the places where pirates and Indians once roamed and discover the beauty that Westwego swamps have to offer. Admire cypress trees draped with Spanish moss, graceful water lilies and wild flowers and cruise serenely through bayous and swamps carpeted by Duckbill grass which are also inhabited by otters, minks, rabbits, deer, armadillos and ducks.
Dangling your feet isn’t recommended – lying on the bank, there might be a patient alligator or two waiting for its next meal.
