Fencing has a great effect on kids – it challenges the body and the mind.
The Cheyenne Fencing Society of Denver and Modern Pentathlon Center is a fencing school that has been operating since 1981 and offers a broad range of fencing classes. We teach the fundamentals of fencing including footwork, blade work, and strategy.
After many successful years on the U.S. Fencing team and U.S. Olympic Fencing team, founder, Elaine Cheris has created a place where everyone can learn the sport of fencing from beginners, to adults looking for recreation, to aspiring Olympic athletes.
Parents tell us they see significant improvement in their children’s school grades, concentration, work ethics, and time management. They also see remarkable changes in physical fitness, confidence, self-esteem, and respect.
Children enjoy exploring this unique sport in a safe environment where rewards are great in accomplishment and recognition.
Our summer camp programs run Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
