Gold Mine Camp is Minnesota’s most remote wilderness fishing resort. Nestled between two portage “waterfalls,” in the wilderness between Lake Vermilion and Crane Lake and located deep in the Superior National Forest, it is designed for the serious angler. Our resort offers anglers the opportunity to relax and fish without interruption. We are also a great place to visit for other favorite outdoor activities including hunting, swimming, canoeing, boating or just plain relaxing.
Our Cabins include all cooking and eating utensils, linens, and blankets. All are equipped with full kitchens, bathrooms, gas furnaces, and hot and cold running water. Our friendly down-home atmosphere speaks to the old resort phrase, “Come as a guest – Leave as a friend.”
